Hydrophobic agent
The hydrophobic agent is a special waterproof agent for exterior wall waterproofing, which has the properties of anti-acid and alkali, anti-aging, anti-carbonization, anti-pan-alkali, moisture-proof, and anti-mildew.
It is mainly used for waterproofing of tile exterior walls (spraying), bathrooms, kitchens, balconies and other tile joints, concrete walls, tiles, stone, wood, cement surfaces and pavements, especially for ancient building repairs (temples, churches, national protected ancient cultural sites).
The hydrophobic agent can be sprayed on the surface of the building at a ratio of 1:5 or 1:10 to water. It penetrates quickly into buildings, forming a permanent waterproof layer invisible to the naked eye. It plays an important role in the waterproofing of exterior walls. After the tiles are finished, water repellent can be sprayed on the tile joints and on the tiles to make the outer wall permanently waterproof.
The characteristics of hydrophobic agent:
Easy construction. Only after adding a certain proportion in water, can it be sprayed directly on the dry building surface with a low-pressure sprayer, especially for kitchen waterproofing, without planing floor tiles. The waterproof treatment of the building surface can treat 500 square meters per person per day, and the construction speed is several times that of traditional waterproof materials.
Hydrophobic agent is non-toxic, odorless and non-flammable. As long as the temperature is above 5 degrees, it can be used in buildings. After curing, it can withstand the temperature of minus 70 degrees Celsius – 180 degrees Celsius. It can be widely used in waterproof treatment of floors, roofs, walls, floors, walls, basements, toilets, underground passages, kitchens, pools, paints, etc. fall off.
Product representatives: Potassium methyl silicate, silane, siloxane, silicone resin
Silane, Siloxane
Product introduction:
Hydrophobic agent, high silane active content, good dispersibility, provides overall water resistance of the material, and does not form a film on the surface of the substrate. It is especially suitable for caulking agent, waterproof mortar, plastering mortar and decorative mortar for external wall insulation system.

Applications:
It can be widely used in various cement-related dry-mixed mortars, especially those areas where traditional liquid waterproofing agents cannot or are inconvenient to use, such as:
- Tile grouts • Rendering mortars • Primers • Sealing mortars
Advantage
In addition to good waterproof effect and water drop rolling effect, it also has the following properties:
- Long-lasting properties • Improved detergency • Good leveling properties • Low dusting • Does not affect wetting • Good compatibility with other additives • Good alkali stability.
Usage and Dosage
Add the water repellent to other powders and mix well before use.
Depending on the application and its effectiveness, the dosage range is 0.1 – 0.5 % by weight of dry material. The final dosage should be determined experimentally in advance.
Store
In the sealed original packaging, it can be stored for at least 6 months. Avoid storage temperatures above 35°C. In the case of long-term storage, agglomeration may occur, but this does not affect the performance of the product.
